Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much computer knowledge do I have to have to take a class at That Creative Place?

    A:
Basic computer skills are a must for taking online classes. You will need to be able to download a file that is attached to email, send and receive email, and it is also helpful if you know how to locate files within your computer so that you can upload pictures
    .
Q: Do I have to be at the computer at a certain time to take a class?

    A:
No. Lessons are sent out via email and you may work on these lessons at your convenience.

Q: How do I communicate with my instructor?

    A:
You will have access to a message board where you can chat with your class, ask questions of your instructor, and upload pictures for others to see if you would like.

Q: What if I don’t want to use the message board?

    A:
Of course, you are still welcome to take online classes but the way that we have set up our program at That Creative Place is that communication is a vital part of your class experience. Many times, instructors will post additional techniques or important information that you will only get from the message board.

Q: Can I share these lessons with others?

    A
: No. It might be helpful if you think of these classes as being like classes that you take physically: You would not sneak a person into a physical class and it should be the same here. Only the person who purchases the class is authorized to use the information and passing it on is a copyright violation. We count on your honesty to keep this valuable learning resource alive and well.

Q: Can I take more than one class at once?

    A:
You can take as many classes as you would like. But for the sake of really learning the skills that you’re working on, you may want to make sure that you have adequate time to complete the project and learn the skills for each class that you choose. We want you to be successful!

Q: My questions aren’t listed here. Who do I ask?

    A:
    You may
email here or use the contact form.
